This is a custom pendant I made for a local customer. The setting is sterling silver and the back has a pentacle engraved into it. Behind the amber the silver was buffed to a high polish, to reflect the light around the spider in the amber.

Thanks, yes the spider was quite cute, (all things considered). I am glad that my client didn't tell me just how old it was until after the piece was done. I can't remember the age of the spider exactly but it is VERY old!
