Turtle Broach Finisby ~che4u

This is one of a pair of Turtle Broaches I am making for a customer. I wanted to get her a picture up ASAP so here is one of the pieces. It will have two holes drilled where the dots are and the two broaches will be attached by two chains when she receives them

This piece is 3" in diameter made of resin impregnated with bronze and pigment and the cabochon is a 12mm Amber. Here's the WIP picture: [link] The back of the "broach" is galvanized wire placed into the resin to form a "bar" across the piece so that it can be sewn to a custom cloak that my customer is making for one of her grove friends.
